theFlab Coaching is a non-clinical behavioural-change service for low-risk clients who may benefit from support alongside, between, or after psychological or health-related care.
It can be useful when a client has insight into their patterns, but needs help applying that insight in daily life.
theFlab focuses on the everyday behaviours and systems that influence how a person functions. This may include:
The work is educational, reflective, and practical. It does not provide diagnosis, psychotherapy, medical advice, or clinical treatment.
theFlab may support clients who are functioning in daily life, but struggle to maintain structure, consistency, or self-trust around food, movement, routines, body relationship, or personal patterns.
It may be especially relevant for clients who are waiting for care, already in therapy, or transitioning out of a therapeutic process and need help carrying insight into everyday behaviour.
A professional suggests theFlab as a possible support option.
The client books an introductory call.
Suitability, needs, expectations, and current support are discussed.
If appropriate, coaching begins.
With the client's explicit consent, a brief update can be shared with the referring professional — the client remains in control of whether any communication takes place at all.
If a concern falls outside the scope of coaching, I encourage the client to seek support from a qualified healthcare professional. This includes:
theFlab is not intended for crisis support or for clients whose needs are primarily clinical.
I only communicate with a referring professional when the client has given explicit consent.
Any update shared is limited to what is relevant, appropriate, and agreed with the client. The aim is to support continuity of care while respecting professional boundaries and client autonomy.
Professionals who would like to understand the scope of theFlab, discuss referral suitability, or explore collaboration are welcome to book an introductory call.
